Vegware™ deli containers are made from polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic produced from corn and other natural starches such as wheat. These items are ideal for foods up to 120° F.
The containers have a smooth finish and are as light and strong as their oil-based counterparts. By contrast though, they are made from annually-renewable resources, are fully compostable, and generate fewer greenhouse gasses during production.
Our containers are available in 12oz, 16oz, and 24oz sizes. There is one lid (sold separately) which fits both 12 and 16 oz containers, and another for the 24 oz container.
